  7.   o You cannot use amiboot-1.12a to boot a pre-0.9.11 or a 1.2.x kernel.

  9.   o You cannot boot a 0.9.11 kernel using an older amiboot program.

  11.   o Amiboot-1.12a is only a recompile of amiboot-1.12 to compensate for
  12.     the changes in include/linux/bootinfo.h.
